Tasmanian Mountain Cattlemen’s shindig

The Tasmanian Mountain Cattlemen’s Association was formed in 1986 by families with historical links with the Mersey high country in Tasmania, an area near the source of the Mersey River, situated on the boundary of Cradle Mountain – Lake St Clair National Park. Days like this are held throughout the year to pass on traditional stockman’s skills, including whip cracking and stockhorse activities.
